What People's Say About Place

Fantastic staff and excellent service. Interesting rustic-industrial interior and atmosphere. Booth was too tight, very vertical, and uncomfortable. Candle and fresh flowers on the table was a nice touch. Crab cakes with pineapple salsa were excellent but very expensive. Chicken on risotto and spinach was presented beautifully, but the chicken was tough, small and overcooked, very disappointing and overpriced.

We had a great dinner at Rocktown Kitchen in Harrisonburg, VA! Everything from the food to the service was excellent — flavorful dishes, perfectly cooked, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. You can tell they care about quality and detail. I’d definitely go back if I’m ever in the area again!

Our group started off with the fried oysters. All of us tried the fish sandwich special. It was served with a homemade tartar sauce that was excellent. I choose the onion rings as my side. They did not disappoint. Service was good.

Such a great place to eat! My wife and I went here for a date night dinner in Jan of 2026; we fully enjoyed our experience! We will be coming back sometime soon!

We went here for dinner on a whim and had the best meal!! The service was great and speedy, especially for a Friday night. I had the meatloaf and the Mac and cheese that came with it was full of creamy flavor and the green beans were a delightful pairing. My date had the shrimp and grits and it was a hearty portion and the shrimp was delicious. We finished dinner with the brownie and vanilla icecream, paired with chocolate sauce, caramel, and raspberry sauce topped with pecans. Such a great experience and would go again!

Came here for the big 24th bday. My bday and this place did not disappoint, crab cakes were on point and the steak was magnificent. Our server, I’m not sure his name, was an absolute dog. He had a mustache and goatee combo and he was rocking it. He was a great server and you can tell he knows his way around a juicy piece of meat. I’m not sure what they put in the water in this place but for some reason it was hitting harder then thanos with all 6 infinity stones. Other than that this place was definitely a place I’ll be going back to and I’m very excited to try out all the other options they had on the menu. Until next time

I really liked this place. Make sure you park across the street. The appetizers are to die for, so good! The crab cakes are delicious and I really liked the sweet potato fries but didn't love the side salsa. My s/o had a steak and it could have used a better sear but the inside was cooked to perfection. Our waiter was the best, so friendly making sure we understood the menu. All in all, I would come back here again.

Delicious food, great service, and pleasant atmosphere. The menu offers plenty of options while keeping it small, which is always a good sign that the restaurant is focusing on quality over quantity. The server was attentive and friendly, and the place has a really nice vibe. It is also next door to a brewery, so make sure to to stop there before or after your dinner.
